That schedule sucks for a list of reasons.

- open date to start the damn year instead of actually giving us a break between games? Wtf is that shite?
- Ole Miss that early blows
- November is a fricking gauntlet
- Rice at a fricking neutral site (I get the recruiting thing, but come on, give us another home game, it is fricking Rice)

the SEC passed on an LSU-Ole Miss game on Halloween Night, in Death Valley. Who TF made this schedule? Ole Miss in September? What?!

Also Arkansas and Auburn games basically have switched. Gonna be weird playing Auburn a few days before Thanksgiving.

Need to move Nichols St. to the last Saturday in August or move them out and find someone else for the last week. There is zero reason to take advantage of a bye before Florida

Looks that way, I guess we get 2 this year because the season starts so early. But no other SEC teams kick off before 9/5

Let's see, we close at Auburn, at A&M. Auburn closes LSU, Iron Bowl. Bama gets Western Carolina, at Auburn. Shades of Birmingham... need Scott to step up

When you only play 12 games a year and it's a hassle to get to the games, it would be nice to have more than one decent non-conference opponent out of the 4. Playing Rice and Nicholls State is about as boring as it gets and the only thing interesting about UTSA is Frank Wilson coaching the team.

Big SEC shakeup because Auburn bitched about playing Georgia a week before Bama each year, per local radio.
