so there are basically a few different branches where 2019 will lead

Offensive Coordinator/Coaches

this is the crucial issue. do we keep E? if we don't, what kind of guy do we replace him with? will it be a simple offense (like an air raid system) or a complicated one?

if we do keep E, what are realistic expectations for the offense in 2019? We return basically everyone of note and our entire OL (plus some likely extreme talent injections in Rosenthal and Kardell)

will we hire an upgrade at OL/WR coach positions?

Players Leaving

White and Greedy look gone

Fehko and Lawrence are question marks

Fulton is a longshot

offensively, I don't know if we have any real guys looking to leave early

Incoming Recruits

Emerey should be a jolt (assuming we get an OC who can use him). Thomas should get PT a few games in. our DL talent isn't going to be great but a bunch of the other defensive guys should get PT, esp Stigley. other tan Emery and Thomas, i'm not sure if we get any major offensive contributions next year

Wildcard Issues

this is just uncertainty as to what may happen, like guys who shouldn't leave early, leaving or transfers or suspensions

like if Burrow leaves (or is severely injured), we're proper fricked

replacing Tracy is a major wildcard

what wildcard issues are the biggest concerns?

We MUST upgrade our OL. Coaching, players, everything. Burrow is pretty damn great when we keep the pocket clean.

Unless O has a change of heart philosophically none of the above matters.

10-2 is the ceiling. I think it’ll be a 9-3 season

Ensminger, Sullivan, Busch, and Joseph need to be gone.

Aranda's defense was fine without a dedicated safeties coach. After last night, I don't know what he brings to the table. Seems like we have too many cooks in the kitchen.

Bring in a real OC, work with him to bring in his own WR coach, and then discuss replacing Bush's spot with a real QB coach.

O is what he is.

As long as Aranda is here we probably won’t lose more than 4 games.

If Aranda leaves (as I expect him to and as the O apologists want) we are a 5-7 loss team.

This year is as good as it gets under Ed

All of our games are at home except Bama and Texas. Probably not beating Bama regardless so beating Texas is key and 11-1 is achievable.

, sure.

We need to improve the OL, but Burrow isn't great at anything.

Outside of White and Greedy, no Jr will be leaving early.

The defensive and offensive lines require 1-2 blue chip guys each.

The "analysts".

There has not been one iota of proof that these people do ANYTHING to make the team better.

If they have actually "helped" Steve Ensminger game plan, then that is just more, overwhelming proof that he needs to go.

Administration won’t sign off on 3 OCs in 3 years. Unless Steve steps down, which I’d say is possible, he’ll be back.

Will the passing game improve? I mean the whole passing game, at every position.

Mickey Joseph and Jerry Sullivan need to be let go immediately. I’ll give Cregg a pass this year due to the Ingram deal and injuries.

Have a feeling both leave.

I see a lot of serviceable guys in Shelvin, Farrell, Logan, etc. I don’t see any difference makers. Chaisson obviously is a giant boost, but I mean strictly DL. We desperately need to get a splash DL recruit somehow this cycle. We currently have 1 DL commit, that’s scary af.

Les left the lines in a mess (please ignore that O was the D line coach and also ran off multiple OLineman)
