Ahhh....yeah we were both attacking different angles.

It just irks me when SOME people pick an arbitrary win/loss record out of thin air and "expect" that to happen or "fire the coach, burn the fricking stadium down, etc" and don't take into account strength of schedule, attrition, injuries, etc. Can you agree with that?

Sure, I never would operate on the ridiculous assumption that every game and season happens in a vacuum.

For example, do you think La Tech beats SMU 51-10 if they play that game again? Or that Tech would go 6-6 if they played the season again?

Sometimes everything just lines up...sometimes not. 2011 was a ridiculous strength of schedule, though...and that team grew stronger through that gauntlet.

I just hate seeing people making excuses for one coach every time a little adversity hits and they fall short, when those same people wouldn’t do the same for another coach.

Absolutely. And check my post history if that's your thing, but I've never been in that^^^ camp. I'm of the opinion that I pull for LSU, not the coach. I will support whomever the coach is until it gets to the point of being like it was towards the end of Miles' tenure. Then changes should be made.

eta: forgot to address this...

No I don't.

I agree, and I’m not in that other group that wants O gone no matter what, either. Even though those two camps are the loudest on here, I doubt they are a majority.
