You can spot the uninformed fans easily in this thread - those predicting a loss to Ole Miss. If you weren't paying attention, the Ole Miss defense was historically bad this season and closed the year with blowout losses to Vandy and Miss St., the latter of which ran for 500 yards on them. There is no help in sight, either - they are ranked dead last in the SEC in 2017 recruiting right now.

your logic is that they have to play a bunch of SEC games? That's the reason?

Partially. It isn't just "a bunch of SEC games". It's 7 consecutive SEC games with 4 of them on the road.

quote:

2013, when LSU played 6 SEC games out of 7 leading up to Texas A&M, with 4 of them on the road, before beating aTm like a drum says you're an idiot.

No, it says that 2013 was 2013 and that you believe because something happened in 2013 it has to happen in 2017. In 2013 LSU had a bye week before aTm. In 2017 LSU plays in Neyland stadium before aTm. They also played Fuhrman two weeks before bama.

So, in 2013 the last 6 weeks of the season looked like this:

Furman, Bye Week, Bama, Bye Week, aTm then Arkansas

In 2017 it looks like this:

Auburn, Ole Miss, Bama, Arkansas, Tennessee and aTm

Now, let it not go without being mentioned that against Arkansas in 2013 (the last game of the year coming off of 2 consecutive SEC games) LSU STRUGGLED to beat a 3-9 Arkansas team who didn't win a single game in the SEC.

quote:

LSU had no bye and played 11 straight weeks really doesn't help you looks any better

It shows what can happen to a team that is physically and mentally fatigued which doesn't have to ONLY happen after a natural disaster.

So providing actual facts and evidence to disprove your idiocy is irrelevant?

ok then

This is the 2nd time you're struggling with a simple concept. Are you slow?

Yes...slow. Rode short bus and a bike helmet to school until I was 15.

Please show me where I said something was irrelevant? I may have implied you were factually correct but used a horrible example but what did I say was irrelevant.

Sorry you're having to actually make sense. I know its hard.

Just keep talking about playing 3 straight weeks before the Texas A&M game like it's some kind of insurmountable obstacle.

Are you referring to your 2013 example where LSU had two bye weeks and a game against fricking Furman and somehow thinking that more closely resembles the health LSU will be in the last game of the season in 2017 than what the 2005 team did?

I never said it was insurmountable. I said I I think LSU will be beat the F up and that aTm is due for a good game against LSU when LSU plays a bad game....something that hasn't really happened in this recent revival between the two schools.

Do I think LSU playing 3 straight weeks is more likened to 1 week than 11 straight?

Yes, I do. That's simply common sense.

I say 10-2 (6-2). Both losses will come on the road

7 of their 8 games leading up to LSU are SEC games, including at OM the week prior. They also play 4 straight weeks.

Yet again, you contradict your own argument. Try again later sparky, and maybe try to be informed next time.

Why are you using a three week sample size?

In 2013 the 3 weeks prior to aTm = bye, @bama, bye
In 2017 the 3 weeks prior to aTm = @ Bama, Ark, @ Tenn
In 2005 the 3 weeks prior to UGA = @ Bama, @Ole Miss, Ark

aTm does have a harder schedule on the back end as well (one of a couple who made some changes next season). No arguments here. It isn't a contradiction though.

You really are struggling to keep in aren't you? I'm using the number of weeks played without a bye before the game in question.

2013 = 0
2017 = 3
2005 = 11

If you think playing 3 weeks in a row is even remotely similar to playing 11 without a bye you might actually be retarded.

"LSU won't play well because of a tough schedule, but aTm will despite a similarly tough schedule"

That's the definition of contradictory and is just a flat out ignorant stance.

It's hard to see and understand exactly what you're trying to twist all the time.

When did I say that? When did I imply that?

I said the 2005 schedule more resembles 2017 than what the 2013 does because of the last 6 or 7 weeks. I didn't say 2017 was identical to 2005 or that 2017 was not going to be easier than 2005. You keep trying to take one thing and twist it into something else to help your argument which is simply that you disagree.
