Very little purple and gold in the stands that day, yet is sounded LOUD on the radio when L.F. scored on long runs in the 2nd half. What up with that?

Yes, and if it weren't for typical Les Miles led teams with sloppy penalties, Fournette had 2 long TD runs wiped out because of them.

Harris would have done just fine in an Ensminger offense

I agree. Whoever managed the offense that year needed his head examined.

The worst was yet to come for Harris. The next week at home vs a 1-11 EASTERN MICHIGAN team he went 4 out of 15, for only 80 yards. Something needed to change-- during the stretch of games consisting of Bama, Arkansas and Ole Miss, the Tigers could no longer rely on Fournette bailing the offense out with long runs

Blows my mind that Les allowed that team who was #2 in the country fall that low after losing to Bama.

They had no business losing to ole Miss and Arkansas. Should have easily been in the Sugar Bowl.

That team lost worse to Arkansas and Ole Miss than to Bama. They weren't ever even competitive in the latter two games

That’s what I’m saying. Les allowed that Bama loss to ruin the entire season. He allowed them to fall apart when they still could have finished strong.

I went. Had a great time. Couldn't miss an LSU game one state away from me.
