Did you not follow spring practices?

I followed spring camp.

You are assuming that he plays MB but after hearing the spring practice interviews Chavis gave,

I think that's where he'll end up long-term. I shouldn't have limited him to MLB this season.

will not be limited to MLB early on. He might grow into a full time MLB but he will play regardless

I agree. He'll get reps somewhere at LB. I guess my point was that I don't think he'll be a definite starter by season's end. There will be a lot of rotation at linebacker.

“I like to cross-train guys because if you get someone go down, it’s not the guy that’s behind him on the depth chart, but it’s going to be the next-best linebacker we’re going to put in the game,” Chavis said.
. And from what I have heard Chavis speak about CG with some game experience in my opinion he will get his chances

He's too small and sadly just not good enough to start here. He is a good player, never said he wasn't but he should transfer to get more PT that he deserves to show off his talent! He will do great elsewhere!

We have one of the best strength and conditioning programs in the country and he hasn't been on the field enough for you to deem him not good enough to play here...so what are you basing this off of?

Riley is up to 225 right now and still growing. robinson is about 185-190 now at corner.

I'd give you five to one odds and consider it money in the bank. The things some guys come up with, geez!

Get out of your feelings, dude! Yes, he does good on Special Teams but he won't start, sorry! Not in Tiger Stadium we have better players if he was one of our best he would start regardless of age, or size! If he doesn't mind waiting around he will stay if he wants the PT he deserves he needs to go elsewhere before it's too late if he's wanting to go to the NFL! Simple! Plus, we have CG who will be in the mix off the back as a freshman, why? Because, HE is good enough. Duke Riley, simply is not, sorry.

So your only basis for this is size? I'm just trying to figure out your criteria for "good enough" and "not good enough"

Duke will not leave LSU - he bleeds p & g. Malachi is one of his best friends and he will see rotational time throughout his career. Not always about the NFL for everyone brah.

Why are you talking shite about Duke when he gives 150% each time he stepped on the field?

Who blocked the only punt all year? And did it against Auburn?

That **** duke

My vote as well. I like Louis and think he is going to surprise a lot of people that did not pay attention to the reps he got last year. He is much better suited to play outside.

This, with a good rotation of Louis and CG will make this defense outstanding. It should hide the inexperience at DT, which is key.

ETA - Forgot about Feist, what a loaded LB corp

Does Feist line up at DE or OLB?

Kwon has the tools to be all sec. The guy was a tackling machine at Oxford. Reminds me a little bit of CJ Mosley

Our best group of LBs is Kwon, Beckwith, and Debo. I think thats the group that plays the most... but Welter will be the "starter" at MLB... and Lamar Louis is a jack of all trades at the LB spot for us. Chavis has had him learning all 3 spots since he got here.
