That series felt like god himself wanted LSU to lose. I remember 1 game it would rain when we were pitching and then let up when they fielded. It was maddening.

That was just a weird series that absolutely nothing went right for us that weekend. That stony brook team played their hearts out and had an experience of a lifetime. They deserved to win that weekend and I was rooting for them in Omaha

Exactly. This is like College Baseball's version of Game 6 of the '75 World Series.

No, it was and still is one of the most embarrassing moments in LSU athletic history.

Literally the moment the mystique of Alex Box died.

Jankowski kid in CF I thought was the fastest, smoothest player I had ever seen up until that point.

He was a 1st round pick and that guy was awesome.

That guy and their 3rd baseman Carmona could rake the ball.

I bet all the pathetic LSU fans that gave them a victory lap celebration are anxiously waiting to see if they made the documentary

Pathetic

I'm not going to agree or disagree with your assessment of LSU's fans giving Stony Brook a victory lap. But, since Stony Brook didn't just go 2-and-Q in Omaha, it got blown out twice, there is little doubt that the CWS appearance is a footnote. All the documentary will be able to focus on is the super regional with a build up to the unusual victory lap Stony Brook took at the Box.

Granted, the first game of that super was a classic. Still, does this documentary happen without the victory lap?
