Chad Jones down to 215. He'll be that much faster.

Do you think some players are asked to report at a higher weight knowing that the fall camp will take off a few pounds. You wouldn't want to report at your ideal playing weight and then lose weight and have to gain it back before the opener. But then again, you have to pass the conditioning test.

Les Miles said that Herman was overweight after practice yesterday.

Said it wasn't much of a concern but he came to camp fatter.

He needed it. Looked very linky when he came to LSU. Hopefully Terrence Toliver will follow suit. We need these guys for blocking as much as catching/route running.

He wasn't lanky last year like he was his freshman year. He's getting big - not just becoming average from lanky.

It depends on how many television timeouts we get. An unfortunate part of football over the last 30 years is that it now actually discourages players from being in good aerobic/long-endurance shape, favoring instead quick bursts of anerobic power from guys with big guts (running backs and linebackers included).

When will a depth chart be set? Not until close to game 1?
