And when a quick whistle on the final drive stopped them from reviewing JR's fumble.

Also the game where officials less than 10 yards from the ball can't recognize when a ball from a punt changes directions after being tipped.

True. But LSU was on their own 35 when that happened with 3:00 left. Tennessee still had plenty of time to have stopped us.

With those ints and Crumpton throwing those td's out of his arse, you were lucky it wasn't 38-3.

because he has the greatest arm in the history of mankind. a slip that may go only 10 yds from the hand of mere mortals goes 30 from the hand of JRock.

Not so sure we were "lucky" on the INT's, there was a lot of mixed zone coverage in that game, and your QB couldn't read it. Then we inexplicably decided to bust coverage 3 times on the final drive including the TD pass where the Linebacker sprints to the flat leaving 2 guys open in the endzone. (You can see this really well on the replay)

LSU was a much better team, but the Defensive game plan and Robert Meachem's performance kept us in the game. The last fumble should have given us the win (just like a pick 6 against FLA that same year that was wiped out by a roughing the passer call).

it's because Hester was out in the flat and JR looked that way before coming back to Doucet

True... we had long discussions on this 3 years ago...

The flat was not his responsibility.. hence the busted coverage

That was a great game to attend. And it was a strange game. It was one of those games where LSU could have won handily but also a game that TN could have easily won (missed call on fumble by JR - which I could not see from my seat, somewhat lucky play to get winning T).
