No disrespect, but saying they were "gaffes" implies a mistake......

And I will stop typing now.

Wasn't the greatest of spacing between the receivers, with three of them having a chance to get to the ball. But I'll take it!

This game was Miles' turning point. At the time, this was almost a must win game for him.

Yep, this and the win at Arky. I believe Arky's only loss was to USC at Arky and DMac didn't play that game due to a foot injury.

alabama 16"

If I remember correctly, that game was the nail in Shula's coffin. If Alabama had won that night, the SEC West might look a little differently today. LSU might even hold a monopoly on it.

Also the game where officials less than 10 yards from the ball can't recognize when a ball from a punt changes directions after being tipped.

Wasn't that the 2006 Arkansas game?

The officials made up for it later in the game by ignoring a fumble by JaMarcus on the game winning drive.

It all worked out in the end, better team won.

Saw jamarcus over the weekend at the IP in Biloxi.. He looks overweight. I know he's big, but he was sporting a big gut.

JR haters should see note how he moved the LB to the flat and created a passing lane.

I was there...SWEET, especially living in Nashville.
My Penn State friend said it was in the top five games he's ever seen.

That game was on CSS last night for about the 20th time.

Strange, strange game. LSU could have won that game 42-0. Tennessee had -5 total yards at the end of the first quarter.

Russell had a game that was sort of a microcosm of his LSU tenure,or at least the perception by many of his LSU career. As always,he had some pass completions that probably made Joe Montana envious. He also had some pass interceptions and reads that had nothing on Jarret Lee's performances at times last season. The pick six he threw to start the second half was pitiful. He looked like some slob that had been pulled out of stands. Awful pass and read.

But,when the chips were down and Tennessee had pulled a third rabbit out of their hat, he kept his cool and led LSU on a great ,gutty drive that ended with the winning TD to Doucet.

if it just slipped out of hands, how did it go so far and high over the receiver ? It looked like a punt.
