I was there. 14 years old. Only bowl game I've ever been to and it was an amazing experience. I'll never forget the fans chanting to bench Booty and put in Rohan. Tech fans were not happy exiting the stadium. Lol

That was an amazing game after the doldrums of the 90s for LSU football.
We decided to tape the game on VHS (back when you had to do that) while we watched it and I rewatched it all the time that summer.
2008 feels like a lifetime later after 2000 but it was only 8 years. But LSU whipped Georgia Tech again in 2008.
