Should't they also honor the 10th anniversary of the 2003 team's championship this year?

It will be an honor to acknowledge one of the boringest games I've ever wathed, sans the last 2 minutes.

Well there was this one reverse, where Ronnie Haliburton laid out an Auburn defensive end...

But other than that, I think LSU crossed midfield twice the entire night.

. Agreed. Isn't that the bigger accomplishment? That auburn game was in the grand scheme of things not that significant. That year was was a very average, somewhat disappointing year. I say that even though I was at that game and know it was a memorable experience.

My dad was on that team in 88, I believe he was RS Soph that year. Said it was so deafening you couldn't here anything anyone was saying. He didn't realize the ground was shaking though.

This brings up an interesting question. Would Saban be invited back for a 25th anniversary of the 2003 NC. By then he should be retired from Bama, or even Texas.

IMO, LSU should be classy and invite him, while he should be similarly classy and have another engagement.

More of an off-season topic but will be an "elephant in the room" at some point.

I was a soph in the student section that game. Sat next to Eddie that next week in Marketing. He was grinning like a mule eatin' briars.

Saban should not be invited as long as he is actively preventing us from winning National Championships, as he has done the past 2 years.

Don't invite him this year. I'm fine with inviting him when he's retired.

wow, that's one way to get you hooked on LSU football.

my first game was with my grandad in '77, we played UK the year they got all uppity and won the SEC (then they were promptly put on probation). We lost.
