Kentucky is no gimme and played really well at home. LSU played poorly on the road. Shots would not fall and defense was rather porous.

One of those SEC road games I suppose.

I have to say we were poorly coached. Idk why we take so much time to set up in half court. Our guards were st mid court have the time. Ballard idk what is up with her

The second best 3pt shooting team in the SEC didnt hit a single one, from a lot of wide open looks, until they were down double figures with just a few minutes left in the game.

The SECs leading scorer has the flu and couldn't get going until the last few minutes.

And they missed an unGodly amount of shots from right under the basket.

You can always blame coaches in some capacity, but they just didnt hit shots today.

Hey guys, I actually went to the game today at Memorial and just got home. My observations from the stands..........

-Our guards, save for Moncrief, played tentative all game long.

-UK's pressure defense definitely bothered us in the first half. Too many lazy passes against a team that gets their hands on a lot of passes.

- I have NO IDEA what is wrong with Ballard. Clearly, her mind is not completely on basketball. As good as Moncrief was at breaking down UK's defense, imagine if Ballard would've been doing the same. We would've still won this game.

- I figured something had to be wrong with Plaisance. If she indeed had the flu, then hers was a valiant effort.

- I really don't like Nikki's penchant for making wholesale changes in the lineup. Subbing three and four players at a time every 5-10 minutes doesn't help to build much consistency.......especially on offense.

It's a disappointing loss but, not the end of the world. It was an SEC loss on the road against a good team. All is not lost. We're still only 2 games out of first with 7 games to play.

Thought we showed heart when not playing our best but uk was better today. No big sin to lose on road to top 15 team. But we need to get going in sec and protect home court vs A&M and TN. Still love having our senior leaders and young talent...but need more consistency from them.
