Didn't Tech hammer him for 5 ER in 3.1 IP early in the year?
One time, in the first start of his season, yes

Do you believe they would have a better record/sec record than us with our schedule?
Yes.

LSU's RPI is 20 right now with 8 quadrant 1 wins. Tech's RPI is 24 also with 8 wins but a > .500 winning percentage. LSU has smashed Tech twice.
2011 team had a MUCH better winning percentage with more wins bs Quad 1’s; a 21 RPI snd 13 conf wins and were left out. Why? The committee said it was due to the fact they didn’t make the conf tournament. That SAME committee has not rewarded LSU for conference tournament wins and they won’t this season. <14 wins and they do not get in unless they win the conference tournament.
If the finish 13-17 and they are done if you use 2011 as a barometer at all. The RPI in 2011 will end up better and their winning percentage of 65% skunks this team’s of 50% (8/14) against quad 1’s. The RPI doesn’t save this bunch with a 13-17 record. Better run to the SEC Tournament final or be out.
