It is relevant to the positions dude. I see one offensive lineman and no quarterback on that list! Like it or not that hurt us this year on offence.

Most of these guys were utilized every game. Funny how the Miles haters say he won with Saban's players but now say he doesn't utilize the great talent he recruits. Makes no sense.

You are missing the point. If you have 12 NFL caliber players in this class, then why are you 8-8 in SEC play, worse against top 25 teams, and struggling to beat inferior teams? Also, none or possibly 1 of these players will start in the NFL next season, they will have to be developed.

Besides that, you can't hide poor O-line play no matter how many stars you have elsewhere.

our talent utilization is terrible, we have (in my opinion) more talent than Alabama & just as much as Florida and we finish with 4 losses.. 9 losses in 2 years... Somebody needs to get Miles OUTTA THERE!

How the hell am i supposed to know? Im not an NFL exec.

But i guess you're sticking by the "Miles cant develop talent" myth.

In an earlier post, you said this...
quote:

You're right...the NFL wants undeveloped players with hidden talent. Jesus Christ.

Also, your point in this post is that Miles is obviously developing talent or else the NFL wouldn't be inviting these guys.

My response is "bullshite", NFL scouts look for players with the potential to play at the next level and many of those guys are not developed in college. I'm also telling you that none or possibly 1 will actually start in the NFL next year. So, if none of them are starting next year that means they need further development. You get it?

There won't be many on the list but most NFL rookies are not first on the depth chart anyway. It is the norm to have to develop them into pro players unless they are some sort of phenom (Ex. Reggie Bush, Percy Harvin, etc.) or they are just on a really sucky team (Ex. Detroit Lions).

Look at the 2009 rookies and how many are first on the depth chart. I guess all of these other college coaches can't develop talent either.

It says we had a lot of senior leaders but not in the right position (QB).

You are missing the point. You and Choctaw both said that having 12 invitees MEANS that Miles is developing talent. I'm saying bullshite. Now, you are saying that very few rookies start in year 1, so your argument that Miles is developing players cannot be proven. Once they actually start in the NFL, most of them are developed in the pros. That's my point.

Not true of most college players going to the NFL.

So are you saying that Miles has sufficiently developed these 12 players and very little grooming needs to be done in the pros? Which of the 12 do you see starting and when?

No I am saying most college players no matter how developed they are will not start their first year in the pros. Miles has developed them into fine football players since they were invited to the combine.

That's retarded. I guess Seastrunk is highly touted because of his high school coaching, not his freakish natural abilities? LSU is a premier university, thus NFL scouts watch games and they look for qualities that would allow the player to excel at the next level. 2-3 of these guys "may" actually start in the NFL one day and it's not because of Les Miles. LaFell would have put up a better resume elsewhere, period.

Holy crap. Do you even know how important OL play is? God you people never cease to amaze me.
Im tired of this excuse, its the coaches fault our line sucks, lets not blame it solely on the players

T-Bob Hebert * * * * ranked 2nd in country at his position

Ciron Black - unanimous preseason 1st team All-SEC

Joseph Barksdale * * * * returning starter

Lyle Hitt * * * Sr. returning starter

Josh Dworaczyk * * * *

Would any of these guys been invited to the combine straight out of high school? No. Therefore...the only logical conclusion is that the coaching staff has developed them into probable NFL talent.
