On 104.5 just now Ott noted that coaches saw the hit Daniels took and they know the protocol for concussions, they put him back in too soon. Daniels was “fabulous” vs Alabama, he doesn’t need to prove anything to the pros, he did it versus Bama in front of a hostile crowd. However you saw Daniels wanted to come back in vs Bama. He’s going to want to play this Saturday.

In my head what I hear Ott probably really said was:

"You know Hanny, they saw the hit and the way he was acting after he hit and they just...you know, I don't think that there was..it's just when you want to talk about a kids toughness, right, I don't think anybody can judge this kids toughness, Charlie. He was really hit and was out of it and...I don't know Charlie.. do you really want to put a kid back in that situation?? It's just, it seems like cooler heads have to prevail in that situation, Charlie.

And then there’s Jordy. Don’t even get me started.

T Bob and Hester were touting Mason Smith and Omar Speights preseason. What were they watching?

They did voice cause for concern over the secondary so they got that right.

You would be wrong. Besides trying to win the SEC West, there was plenty to prove. Prove that LSU has arrived by beating the GOAT Saban two years in a row and winning the SEC West.

It’s like he already knows with absolute certainty this will get addressed in one way or the other after this season

of course he does, we all do

say what you want about BK, but he is ruthless when it comes to staff and performance. The Matt House hiring has not worked, BK will fix it. A new DC will most likely insist on his own staff, so some of the BK BBQ buddies will be gone too.

I wonder if part of House at UK was working for Stoops and having Stoops as a mentor. So Stoops hid some of MH's deficiencies.

T-Bob told a local B-Ham Radio show that someone on the team plane said that MH told them that the they were dumbfounded at the outcome. That LSU used a gameplan that House had for Payton Manning vertical passing game because that is what they were expecting when Bama dropped back to pass

So I went back and looked it up. Matt House was on one staff (the St Louis Rams 2009/2010/2011) that played Manning in the regular season.
It was Oct 25, 2009 and the Colts beat the Rams 42-6.

So if the story is true, House used a Manning Vertical Passing Defense Gamplan from 14 years ago against BAMA and Jalen Milroe and when the Tide shifted 180 Degrees from what House expected he completely locked up and couldn't adjust. Even though they had used the HP4 as a Spy on Milroe in the First Quarter and it worked just fine.

Unreal

This part is an insane miscalculation. The last thing in the world Saban wanted was seeing his not so great young passer, slinging it all over the field on every drive. When you see House, he seems like a bright energetic young coach, which is likely what Kelly saw. But clearly now, Kelly can see his deficiencies.

Keep him healthy so he can get paid the way he deserves to.

Nah, if he’s healthy enough to play, he should play. True fans want what’s best for LSU. So many people say, “I care about his pro career” no you don’t. That’s okay, you’re allowed to be selfish as a fan
