well kid, I am in my 40's....MBA from Tulane...Accounting from LSU, and have a significant consulting company. I'm paid to think and analyze. You obviously want to believe what you want to happen. One last time, I'll take the word of s SENIOR LSU OFFICIAL. Good luck to you, and by all means, stay in school.....with experience and education comes wisdom. You need some.

This is also coming from glen Guilbeau who is a very shady person when it comes to reporting "news". He twists people's words.
The official did say that his words were taken out of co
Frick GG.....who cares. I have the exact words of the Senior Official....several times, he said TM would not be eligible at LSU again. Don't let it ruin your day. Have a good one kid.

It isn't about who you believe, it's about you being clueless as to the time frame of the comments. Vincent said Bahnsen was misquoted. You are incorrect in that Bahnsen then offered an additional statement.

OHHHHHHHH
Your facts are wrong bro, no one gives a shite about your MBA. To rehash what has been stated a million times already, GG quoted Bahnsen saying that TM7 would not be back. Herb Vincent (a SENIOR LSU OFFICIAL, as you love saying) contradicted the report. Nothing came out after that. That is all we have. Thanks for playing.

I am the same age group as you VC, and you really make yourself look silly with the "kid" comments. Looks like you are trying to take focus away from the content of the post and on age.

Trust me, there was a reason Herb Vincent said what he did last night.... (to clarify/discredit the story that "LSU confirms that TM is permanently ineligible.")
LSU didn't have to say anything (it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out why he did that). And FWIW, Herb Vincent is basically the #2 guy in the athletic department, well above the compliance director. The only word I'll take over Herb's is Joe Alleva or Les Miles. Regardless, the compliance director's quote was taken out of context to begin with by GG.

Haven't there been multiple and conflicting statements made by the "Senior Officials"?

Geez, it's like talking to a brick wall with you.
Here's what happened yesterday.
Early in the morning Joe Schaad reported Mathieu was considering coming back to LSU after sitting out.
Later in teh afternoon, Guilbeau runs with a quote saying Mathieu will not be eligible at LSU again, using a source in the AD office.
After that was released, Herb Vincent came out and said LSU never said that and Mathieu's football future at LSU is still undecided.
That is all that came out yesterday. A new article using Guilbeau and his source is just repeating what he originally said.

No, I'm not. I'll leave it at that. Again....I realize I am talking to three college aged kids here......and I completely understand you guys wanting to hang on here in hope. It ain't happening. I can't and won't say anything else about it. Again, believe what you will, but you are going to be disappointed if you believe there is a chance.

I'm out of college, and you're still wrong. It has nothing to do with what anyone believes will happen.

Will all your education, analyzing skills, and success, you sure are a freaking r-tard. You have your "facts" screwed up and have had your arse handed to you multiple times in this thread. Step away from the computer and seriously post less.

No....one says he will never play again. One just said that is basically not being discussed right now. What is agreed upon is that he is eligible for school.

I'll break it down for you.
GG talks with Bo.
GG writes article and misquotes him on purpose to get views.
Herb Vincent tweets that LSU never said he is permanently ineligible and that he could return to LSU as a student but LSU would not speculate on his future in football.
Due to GG being a member of the AP, major news sources run with his article trying to pass it off arse their own.
Dumbasses like you then come on here like you have the scoop while in reality its already been debunked.

Btw, they don't get very much more "senior official" than Herb fricking Vincent.

No offense meant, truly, but you are confused by the sequence of events yesterday.
And to be fair, it's understandable.....Monday was chaotic in the news about this situation, and wasn't helped by the fact that some in the media were running with innacuracies and quoting people out of context.
I have no idea if TM will ever play another down at LSU or not, but it is obvious that you drew some innacurate conclusions yesterday based on tons of misleading information.

Which is the one you keep passing as fact. The same one that was later dismissed here:

Herb Vincent ?@LSUherbvin LSU did NOT announce this. “@USATODAYsports: Tyrann Mathieu is "permanently ineligible to play football at LSU," the school announced"

And the thing is they actually credit the source, Gannett/Guilbeau, so there shouldn't be any confusion. VC is just clueless.
