Cant wait to see the lambos parked around campuses. Imagine being a college kid and buy a nice house and luxury car while being a student.

He didn't say almost a million dollars. He said almost 7 figures. 6 figures is almost 7 figures. Its all in how Saban worded it.

Totally agree. These outrageous payments I guess don’t even need loopholes. Anyone who likes NIL has a death wish for CFB

Your source is Saban saying this during a talk to TX high schools, right?

I personally think he's talking out of his arse during a recruiting opportunity, but these things should be verifiable.

Really, have you ever known Saban to say something that if he could not back it up. He says nothing that could be used by other schools against him. If he said it, it is true.

Absolutely not. Guys like this will play one year then opt out, they have the money.

I am kinda happy to see it. What if the guy makes a lot of mistakes, throws a lot of interceptions? I am really interested to see if little Nick pulls him!

I’ll listen with an open mind why you think this is a great idea.

Why is anyone mad about this? Alabama is the biggest show in that entire state. The QB is always going to me one of the top 3-5 most recognizable people in the state. Believe it or not, business does go on there. This just makes economic sense.

Instead of acting like “woe is me”, realize that the LSU QB is also in a similar position of power. Business does get done in LA… game on

It will really hurt the NFL. If some players have already made 5 mil in college they may not try as hard or even go to the NFL. This will get interesting.

$1,000,001

Also, not hearing “Row Tahd!” for the remainder of your days and in your sleep is a nice perk.

I don’t think it will necessarily make college football better. It will add cool things and detract some but it is objectively the right thing

This is my issue. Some 5star gets recruited, feels like he should be a starter as a freshman to get some bank. Dude playing in front is a sophomore and plays 2 years as a starter. Kicks arse. Gets endorsement cash. Other guy is frickin pissed he ain’t gettin PT.

Alabama QB has secured $1,000,000 in endorsements!

Does the recruit get the money upfront or after four years?
