100 section tickets. Is there a fix?

This section has the best seats in the house. They are always half empty. All the ticket holders are 100 years old and won't go to the games. They don't sell the tickets either.

What can be done?

It would be nice if priority points were given for donating the tickets on a per game basis. Maybe donate them to high school athletes. Or raffle them to LSU students.

Any thoughts?

As long as LSU is getting that money nothing will happen. Not trying to be a debbie downer but it is what it is. The powers that be could give a shite if some seats are empty. All about that denaro.

I was in 101 and someone behind me sold their tickets to some drunk, vulgar, idiot young men. I would have much preferred those seats go empty. My 6y/o son sure got a vocabulary lesson, though.

I think its a simple fix... give bonus points for "perfect" attendance for ticket holders.

I didn't tell anybody what to do with their discretionary income. I asked what can be done about incentivizing a donation to fill the seats.

A night conference game in Death Valley and some young men were drunk/cursing at the game. Oh the terror. This is part of the experience. All of us who grew up going to LSU games experienced this. It's part of the environment.

Sounds like fun.

The seats are empty at the house.

He's heard worse at school.

They'd make more money off concessions and parking if those seats were full

Tickets should carry an attendance requirement?

Maybe if a person misses two games in a year they lose their tickets unless they supply a written and notarized doctor's excuse?

Since you seem to blame old people, what about an age requirement? After a certain age, say 65, a person can't renew the tickets?

I never said this.

This is stupid and who are you arguing with?

Your missing the point. The point is to incentivize doing something with the tickets. Doesn't matter if they are sold or donated. Just not thrown away like they are every game.

Because being drunk, loud and vulgar are such admirable qualities.

This is a good idea. Priority points for the tickets being scanned.

It looked pretty full to me on Saturday. Maybe I was at the wrong game.

You should see section 8. They are eight years old and cannot afford the tickets to go.

Yin/yang I guess.

I was in 301 and this couple maybe in their 50's got up and left mid way through the 2nd quarter?? How could you go through all the trouble of travel, parking, walking to stadium and leave right when it was getting good? So strange
I get the late game exits if they are way older and cant fight a large crowd walking out or have young children but man if you're gonna go to the game, go to the game. Muh traffic, muh drive home, muh concessions.. god everyone just loves to complain.

I’ve been stuck in 300 for a minute. I’ll never have priority points to move over to the shade. It must be nice

Why is this always on old people? I was in 101 too and the only people that left early from where I was were 20 somethings….

Give ticket holders the right to permanently sell and transfer their seats IS the answer! Saints do it and it works great. I bought saints tickets that way years ago. When I lost interest two years ago I sold my rights to an eager fan. Older fans have stopped going to games but are reluctant to give them back to lsu.
