Yes, they should. But 2 points regarding what the gump is saying (assuming it's true, which is a huge step but just for fun I will act like it is.)

1. After 5 years in BR, our reaction to him going to Bama should have come as no surprise to Saban.

2. He also should know that we have our share of kooks, and if he really "hates LSU" now based on that small minority then screw him.

Guys, give up. AlaTide is the self-annointed spokes person for the Sabans. Not only Nick, but Terry as well as his children.

What I find hilarious is that he makes bold claims, and backs them up with NOTHING factual. I smell bullshite, through and through.

Actually I think he's right, at least about his kids. I said this before, but I had friends that went to school with her while Saban was at Miami. I don't know about her parents, but I know she definately hates LSU.

Why is there 3 pages of posts on the LSU tiger rant about Alabama's head coach?

better question is does saban ever 1.accept to be given a tiger stadium salute and 2. Does LSU ask offers it to him?

I think yes to both but a very very very long time from now

Nick Saban will never get a Tiger Stadium Salute. Do you know how much old people hate Ole Miss? Because of the old rivalry? That will be our generation, at age 50, booing that son of a bitch while the student section looks on with apathy.

No, you just throw stuff at the opposing team when they beat you in your own stadium. Duke? ULM? I was there both games & saw your student section throwing cups of coke & God knows what at those players. Also heard-gasp-some boos in BDS during that ULM game.

This "We're so classy" attitude that most Bama delude themselves into thinking is what makes me absolutely despise everything about Alabama, unfortunately a very good coach as well. I will never cheer for anything good for Bama.

As for his family "hating" LSU - I wouldn't presume to know anything about whats in the minds of Saban or his family. I think they had their "Millionare's club" friends here that they still associate with, while they realized the passion of the rest of the fanbase. Same thing at Bama I'm sure. I'm sure Saban was mortified when he saw what his daughter wrote on facebook, which is why her account was promptly erased.

And we should care because? She goes to Bama, she knows where her bread is buttered.

She's constantly trashing LSU on her Facebook. Well at least she used to. At one point she wrong something like "Les Miles is a little bitch."

Once you win your National Championship at Alabama, Coach Saban will leave.

Alabama fans would have the same reaction, if not worse, if Saban did the same thing to them. That to me is undeniable. Your crazies would come out of the wood work and say the things that ours did. And we would probably be defending him right now.

Does a brick through the window of the family home qualify or no?

When did we throw a brick through someone's window.

It was either Ray Perkins or Bill Curry - I don't remember which, but it was one of the two.

Curry.

We know more about Bama history than you do

But I think his daughter had come to Tigerdroppings a few times and saw some of the things people were saying.

What does she expect? Is she offended about what LSU "fans" post about their own coach and players on this site (which is relatively well-moderated compared to other sites which are absolutely out of control.)?

And, does the truth hurt?

If it wasn't for LSU Nick Saban would be the most popular high school coach back in West Virginia.
