Accurate article except for the LSU part. They don't know shite about Tiger football. Anyone who thinks Tulane is any kind of rival, in-state or other, has no credibility. There are monks living in remote monasteries in the mountains of Tibet who know that Tulane is not an LSU rival. Plus the cupcake thing falls apart when you consider VT, Arizona, ASU, Fresno State, etc. They're not cupcakes, we just made 'em look that way.

Agreed. One thing I noticed about the teams was that they are winning programs. Whether it's recent success (LSU, USC) or former powerhouses (Alabama, FSU) there's a common denominator among us.
And if we're going for top 10 most obnoxious, why in the world isn't Florida on the list?!?!

I think people know that LSU fans are obnoxious, but you could tell she was really reaching to come up with something. Geaux is original, unique to Louisiana. Maybe it's starting to get a little old...I mean eauxld.
As for Tulane...we can't help it that they fell of the map in the 60s or 70s or so. It once was a good rivalry, and you can't blame LSU for trying to rekindle it. Don't get me started on the OOC thing. Talk about beating a dead horse.
Bottom line is LSU provides the best college football experience as a fan...period. I'm proud that we're obnoxious.

I'm tired of hearing about weak OOC schedules. The educated writer should be aware of the 3 top ten teams on our schedule! Tulane is not a rivalry, it just gives LSU fans a close away where we can legally drink in the stadium!

LSU fans can be super obnoxious (I can't stand SOME of our fans sometimes), but does this skirt know anything about college football and where the SEC stands amongst other conferences.
Some OOC teams LSU has beatin as of late;
OU = LSU BCS Champs
ND = dismantled their program (maybe forever)
OSU = 2nd BCS Champs
Also, LSU / AU might be singlehandedly responsible for all the talk about playoff system.
PS LSU has several rivals and none of which are Tulane.

Since when do we care what other people think. I mean honestly, does it matter if other fans like us or not? I could care less. As long as we keep winning, it doesn't matter, bottom line. I do like the fact that ND is #1 most obnoxious.

I liked the article, IMO she's funny. She must have take to a Tulane fan about the rivalry. I don't care if she makes us #1, the Clemson part was my favorite.

I'm a Gator...and even I wonder why were not on this STUPID list because some of us carry the chomp ( like FSU tomahawk chop) way too far in my honest opinion....GO Gators
