You are arguing over semantics. The 2015 team only lost 3 games and that was enough to fire Miles. Orgeron can go 10-3 in year 1, but if he doesn’t improve that over the next 3 years he isn’t good enough by the standards this administration has set.

course I think we win that game but you you don’t see anyone saying we went 9-4 last season do you? The game didn’t count you can check any record book and it’s not there. This is a prime example of bias. You can’t ignore and change reality just because it doesn’t fit with your argument.

I would count that as a win for O

Although after the Troy game even that can’t be taken for granted I guess.

Still, with that team last year, it’s a W

Quit spinning everything, you’re the one arguing semantics I simply stated their “Actual Record”. And Miles wasn’t fired after his 2015 9-3 record he was fired after constantly lying to his bosses about modernizing the offense then going 2-2 without facing a ranked team to start 2016.

10 wins isnt bad at all I consider it a good season but the point of this hire was to exceed miles performances of just 10 win seasons. Anything less is completely unacceptable.

Miles was fired because he couldn’t beat Bama and win the West.

His offense was good enough to beat most everyone else. The 2015 season was a 3 loss team and 100% of people agree that in a normal year they win the 13th game against an FCS team. That’s not spin.

It was time for Miles to be fired but Wisconsin wasn't a bad team

We needed a new direction, sometimes coaches become stale after tenures at a school. It happens everywhere

Wow, he was fired after Auburn not Wisconsin. The spin you guys use is unbelieveable, how can anyone discuss anything when you don’t ever acknowledge and constantly dodge the truth? Have a nice day.

I am not disagreeing that he needed to be fired

I think you are over thinking it

I was just sayin the Wisconsin loss truly wasn't that bad but the Auburn one was for sure

Auburn went to the sugar bowl. They weren’t a bad team either.

I think Miles would have beaten Florida, but I admit that is a total opinion.

While I wasn't the fan of the O hire and still have major questions if he can take us to where we want to be...

I hope we win out and build onto a nice recruiting class and continue to improve for next year

Wisconsin was a legit top 10 team and only beat us because Fournette got hurt on the final drive.

It was time to fire Miles. Orgeron just needs to be better.

Personally its hard to judge an early loss until we see what that other team does to finish the season?

Do yall think that is fair?

This site has really been reduced to a bunch of pussies already accepting defeat before the game is played. I remember when this site had balls.

You’re right but you can’t look at it that way because you’re opening a huge hypothetical box. They weren’t ranked when we faced them and if we beat them like they should they’re not a top 10 team. It would be the same as saying we didn’t beat the number 1 team Florida Gators in 97 because Florida didn’t end up ranked number 1. I agree Wisconsin was better than expected but us being much worse shouldn’t be an acceptable excuse.

Agree. This can go from disaster to a New Years 6 bowl possibly. Big turn around if they can achieve that
