He is not wrong, but others (the committee) don’t see it that way. I hate that cupcakes schedules are being rewarded, but SEC teams can’t afford to play decent out of conference games anymore. There is too much parity in the SEC.

Call in and tell Hanigriff that next year the NCAA committee is giving national titles to all college football teams.

When the SEC decided to add Texas and Oklahoma and remove east and west and added a 12 team playoff is when teams are no longer going to go undefeated in the sec and have and have 2 teams in a 4 team playoff. They did this to stop sec dominance and even the playing field a lil bit.

I understand what you're trying to do here but the only problem is Ags can't finish 10-2. Maybe their new coach is worse than Sumlin and Jimbo???

Tulane sitting at 18. I would love to see them move up and sneak into the playoff. They are the elite in state team of the moment.

Did he say this while eating a gluttonous amount of fried seafood?

This why polls shouldn't be announced until the last 4 games of the season.

Tuck Fulane can play a team worth a frick and be exposed, hopefully it is the team that lays 62 on 'em and hasn't lost to them in the last 42 years.

Tulane played Oklahoma better than Alabama. And barely lost to Kansas State. And have been blowing teams out for the most part. I’l pretty sure they’d spank the Tigers.

This is the only season where they have actually been a better team. And it wouldn’t surprise me at all if LSU beat them if they played in a bowl game. Our players would care a lot more about it after all the talk about Tulane being the better team than an early season non-con home game.

I get what he is saying, and that may be fine for Ole Miss and Mizzou, and South Carolina, but at LSU, you make a 12 team playoff or you don't. The record is pretty inconsequential after that.

It is a failure of epic proportions what college football has become. I would say athletics but none of the other sports fund the entire athletics departments for most schools and have so few opportunities to screw up. Then there are the dumbass “I want it now” generation that have so much recency bias they don’t see the big picture.
