Everyone freaking out because we almost lost can take solace in this. I wonder if we will be unanimous #1 this week?

It was a tournament. They played 3 teams. TCU was ranked from 17 to 23 on the different polls.

They are young, like LSU they will need time to get going.

Vanderbilt played extremely well Friday and Saturday and will be one of the title favorites this year. No one should be taking them lightly.

As far as including concerned we outscored our opponents 35-17 this weekend and are 3-0.

The bad part is if LSU played the same teams and went 2-1, people on here would be trashing them and wanting Paul’s head. I am just trying to give those people some perspective. There will most likely be weeks when we go 2-2 or 3-1. Let’s support our team and stand behind them in good and bad and hopefully win a championship.

Which is very good. And LSU is and will be good this season.
But our weekend compared to Vanderbilt’s is not an apples to apples comparison. Vandy played Virginia, Cal St Fullerton, and TCU, while we played ULM, Army, and Air Force.

As I was saying in the 8th inning yesterday, it is too early to get too excited either way. This is like NFL pre season. It is a mirage.
