Yeah how could a Notre Adams Score in 2:00.
It’s not like people design offenses for that situation. Who’s ever heard of a 2 minute offense.
Going for it made sense.
Worst case scenario is you have the opposing team backed up on their own 1 with 2 minutes to go. That gives you a chance to force them to play conservatively to avoid a safety and get the ball back with time and good field position.
