LSU opened the season last week with the best opener score in the country. LSU was missing people in every rotation except for bars. Bars, LSU tied the best score in school history and we did it week one with a score of 49.600.
LSU was without Edney on vault, beam and floor. Desiderio was held out on floor for precaution. Campbell is not 100% healthy at the moment. Desiderio should be a meet day decision on floor tomorrow. She is one of the best floor workers on this team.
Vault:
Edney has been cleared and should be ready to compete tomorrow. Ruby harrold is expected to re enter the vault lineup as well. A few rumors hint we could possibly see Finnegan 1 1/2. Lexi Priessman was dynmaite last week on vault, if she still feels okay, we should expect to see her tomorrow. LSU could potentially have 6 10.0 vaults by mid season with Finnean, harrold, edwards, priessman, hambrick, and edney. LSU should have at least 4 10.0 vaults in tomorrows meet. Edwards has looked extremely sharp at practice and looks to improve her vault.
Bars:
On bars we will see exactly what we saw last week with Sami Durante leading it off for us. She could potentially be the best lead off on bars in the country, and she is only a true freshman. Look for durante to put up major scores every weekend. Ruby looks to break over the 9.9 mark for the first time tomorrow. In order to do so she needs to hit her handstands and allow to leg separation on her pirouettes. LSU is in excellent hands on this event, this event can be one that separates LSU from its competition all season.
Beam:
LSU looked a little out of sorts week one. Erin had an off night on the beam, and Myia had a minor miscue on her connection. After a Cannamela fall, Campbell and Desiderio performed extremely tight routines. I don't expect to see Cannamela on beam tomorrow, but expect to see Desiderio and Campbell on beam, both have been lights out in practice all week. Look for the same lineup this week but with Edney back in the lineup for Cannamela.
Floor:
Desiderio will be up in the air until the meet starts but she will be a mainstay in the lineup extremely soon. Edwards showed a lot of capability on floor. She is powerful and has nice form. I would not be shocked to see her compete again tomorrow on floor. harrold had a nice floor routine yesterday in practice. Edney is expected to rejoin the lineup. I don't see Erin in the lineup tomorrow, she has had some control issues as of late. LSU still put up a nice score opening week while not in full strength.
This will be the most difficult meet this season. Florida is absolutely stacked, as they lost zero routines and adds some dynamic freshman from the elite world. Baumann and Jazmyn Foberg are phenomenal, and look to upgrade weak spots from last years squad.
Tomorrows meet is at 6:00 and will be televised by the SECN. If any LSU fans are in Florida be sure to attend, I know a bunch of LSU people who will make the trip.

can you do the cool thing like on tv with that last picture, where they pause it and then look at it from another angle. It's already paused for the picture, just do a 180 with it.

not sorry for being sexual attracted to 18, 19, 20, and 21 year old gymnasts. This isn't the Olympics with 14 year olds. It's ok to have dirty thoughts about them.
