The students were moved behind the goals because they quit coming to the games, and thus, prime real estate was unused. They can make more money selling those sideline seats as season tickets instead of selling them to students at discounted rates.

Now, if you want to argue they quit coming to the games because the product has mostly been shite since Shaq left, then I would agree. I think you get a good atmosphere because of winning, which starts with getting good players. Then you win, then students come, then you have a great atmosphere.

You don’t win initially because you have a great atmosphere. Auburn fans didn’t give a shite about basketball when they weren’t winning. This is the SEC, and outside of Kentucky, the sport most fans prefer first is basketball.

We camped out on the ramp in the late 80's. Made empty beer can pyramids alongside our sleeping bags. Raced in to secure front row seats in the student section. We had our newspapers in hand ready for the starting lineups. Chanting when they introduced the opposition while rattling the paper "BORING BORING BORING". Followed by chants of "WHO'S HE WHO'S HE WHO'S HE". Throw the paper on the court as the lights went dark. Spotlight hit the roof and to the delight of the packed house Mike would repel down to center court. It was EPIC. The Deaf Dome!!!!

Hopefully, Broome is scoreless in the 1st half and sits out the 2nd half.

Those were the days when football was really bad, not 9-4 bad but 4-7 bad & LSU was a basketball/baseball school. The PMAC & old Box were the place to be.

Not one of. The best defensive team in the SEC, and the nation.

The bozo you are replying to is trying to act like LSU scoring 73 vs Alabama is a flex showing that LSU’s offense is good. Of course, I’m sure he fails to realize that 73 was the second LOWEST point total an SEC team has scored against Alabama this year. The only lower total was 68 by South Carolina…who is 0-7 in SEC play

OK, I’ll take an inept offense and be ranked #1. Defensive teams win a lot of games,

Their offense is inept. Only scored 53 tonight and Johni Broome was back.

UT is ranked #3 in the country in opponents ppg.....

Meanwhile Auburn's offense is ranked #17 in the country in ppg.

They had an off night against a top 6 team in the country who also happens to have the 3rd best defense in terms of ppg.

I wouldn't call that inept
