My gosh that’s text book offensive PI. Lol he ran right at the defender and stopped. The ball was thrown past line of scrimmage. If it was caught behind, the flag would be picked up.

you are nuts. SO you are saying a receiver can stop anywhere on the field and if a defender comes and runs into him, then it is offensive PI. That is crazy talk

It's all about timing. Green stopped right before the defender got there so it looks just like a pick in basketball. Take off your P&G glasses. You would want that flag thrown if the teams were reversed.

Running at a defender and stopping is not a penalty

Yep. Refs are looking for anything that makes it look like green isn’t trying to run his route. Stopping right there is one.

And then announcer just explained it trying to make it sound legit. Yeah well he went past the line of scrimmage so this time it was a penalty.

The Auburn play was caught behind the LOS, so OPI doesn't apply. I didn't think Green initiated contact, he didn't push his arms forward in a blocking motion. Bad call.

So you're saying Green tried to avoid contact, but the defender still made contact and it's a penalty on the guy that tried to avoid contact
