If this offense can limit those, it will be good enough, if not, we won't beat good teams, no matter how good our defense is.

I like what I've seen from Leavitt, but he has to take care of the ball.

That's my takeaway from the 1st two games.

Running game was concerning, Sam was pressured way too much

Agreed, but let’s say two of those interceptions don’t happen. We would've beaten that very confident and probably the best Tech team I’ve ever seen 59-14. Last night was still an annihilation.

Offensive line and QB play. This is a good team but those two things would give me pause in expectations about how far this team can truthfully go.

Receivers can’t get separation at the slot
Oline can’t run or pass block

I agree! I keep seeing these OL sucks posts on here from people who have not figured it out yet. Tech was selling out the run and Leavitt was not making good decisions in the passing game. None of those 4 turnovers was due to OL play.

The offensive line still wouldn't have created a push or opened holes even if they were playing U High. I assumed that it was a conscious decision by Weiss and Kiffin to test the OL group in short yardage. I'm really not sure how good our backs are but you have to create something for them to work with.

Guy is a turnover machine so far.
OL was weak, had no push and zero running game except 1 run and QB scrambling
Hopefully, LK can get his head on right.

There are a lot more issues than that. All correctable though

The guard play in both games is not good. You force pressure up the middle and spy the QB. Texas A&M will do that with 4 and cover everyone. The run game better improve

From what I’ve seen in only two games, Leavitt is a below average passer! All legs with very little arm talent. Reminds me of a typical QB that you would see playing for Mississippi State. You know the kind that will give defense fits at times but is inconsistent and makes way WAY too many mistakes! The first half tonight was horrendous! I do like his competitiveness and his attitude. I think he cares and maybe that’s why he tries to do too much.
