Don’t forget they counted Sam down when his butt started going down but gave Reid the whole length of his forward slide. He started going down five yards before where he wound up

He didn't initiate contact. His head was ducked but his feet were firmly on the ground and no upward movement of his body. As other poster said the LSU player was thrown into him.
