He understands why he isn’t playing and what he does to do to be able to play based on media interviews, he’s being developed as a RB that will actually be able to play consistently in the pros.
Look at Treyveon Henderson from OSU now with the Pats, he was great in college and he’s been really good in the pros but he doesn’t step on the field as much as he could because the dude doesn’t know how to block. Pro teams want a true every down back and our OL just isn’t good enough yet to play a RB who can’t offer anything in pass protection.

None of our RBs are superstars but Jones is a future pro bc he does everything well. He will be a long time NFL backup and it's not worth taking him off the field if the other guys aren't superstars

Not being able to pass block doesn’t change if you transfer ….
