13:00 minutes to go kick the FG from their 38. Nope go for it
LSU holds them. They punt. Pin us down.
LSU 3rd and 1 and here comes the predictable direct snap. Stuffed. Just punt. Nope. Try to draw them offside. Delay penalty. Punt. Big return. Short field TD.
24-13 8:00 to go. LSU decides to go for it on their own 28 4th and 9. Nope. Bama stops them.
Short field Bama TD 31-13
Sooooooo outside of the 1 pass after LSU goes up 13-10. LSU gave them a short field to play with all night.
Only drive that was somewhat lengthy for them was after the 57 yard FG miss. So anyone saying Bama crushed us. It’s more like LSU gave it to them. I really thought that 4th down crap was going to slow down once he got to LSU. OUR D for the most part did their job last night. DJ and PJ absolutely held their own and Bama had 85 rushing yards. Russel had the 10 yard scramble to see them up to score to make it 17-13.
When the Tigers see that film today and tomorrow they will be even more upset.

Our offense cannot make explosive plays. Everything is within 10-15 yards of the line of scrimmage. All the yards are just a bunch of empty calories.

I cannot disagree with any of this. My own opinion has been just take the points. Yes it is not a TD but I left 9 points off the board. Then it's an entirely different game. I am hoping these next three games we take the points and let the outcomes play out.

All those empty calories still put us in scoring position to come away with at least three. That happened something like 3-4 times last night. And instead of taking the points, LSU went for it and got embarrassed.
Field position sucked all game for the defense as a result and we lost out on points that were there for the taking.
