Yeah, coaches share information like this. I'm pretty good friends with a Louisiana Hall of Fame coach that agreed with my post.
If Texas did have something to do with it, news will travel fast.
And they will give no shits about one team or banning coaches from their campus.

Guys I heard from my source that it is in-fact USC behind his move to IMG. Not great but lucky for us, Riley will likely be fired before Zyron gets to college.

Good one. So wrestling isn't a real sport, right? Guessing you wouldn't say that to some of those guys in person. I've seen wrestlers dismantle football players in fights in under 10 seconds. Swimmers and cross-country runners have some of the most grit of any athletes you'll find.
As others mentioned, agree or not, Jesuit isn't going to add football players and basketball players who can't cut it academically in an effort to chase trophies. It's the way it's always been and most alums are fine with that.

Correct, Jesuit isn’t going to bend on much if anything.

I definitely know of some great athletes they gave preferential treatment in getting into the school and worked a little harder than with other students to help them academically with some support. However, for sure they don’t give grades away or bend over backwards for anyone. Many a great athlete flunked out of Jesuit.

FWIW, a few days before this thread started, someone connected told me that people connected with LSU were “paying” a million to him to stay in LA for high school, not to go to LSU, just to stay in LA for HS.

I was scratching my head about what he was talking about and forgot about it and then saw this.

Something I was thinking about… with colleges building big front offices now like the pros, will who the coach is at any given time matter less and less? They might just relegate coaches to coaching games while front offices take over the recruiting. I know when the pros sign free agents we don’t give credit to the coach for the move.

This is a good point and I am not really sure. But what stops a kid like Zyron from going to IMG, collecting monthly checks from USC (as I have been told he is doing), and then still committing to anoter school. Does USC have any recourse? I mean its still illegal to give a player money in exchange for his attendance at your school.

Will help with early enrollment in college if the school the athlete previously attended does not allow early graduation. IMG does, Jesuit most probably does not.

Training facilities and staff, as well as, nutritional program should also be better at IMG.
Also, it basically puts them on the same kind of training and academic schedule they will be on in college, as opposed to the typical high school day.
