Literally all of the LA kids come back and play for us at one point or another. People need to stop stressing so much.

If there is one thing that seems evident with BK is that he asks the commits to wait and announce in succession at a later date.
The only reason I can think this is useful is because it makes it seem like we are the hot ticket for a period of time. The draw back is that it makes us look dormant for a time as well.

Have we had a lot of solid 4* LA kids come home? Yes. Do all? Absolutely not.
Edgerrin Cooper, Sedrick Van Pran, Jacoby Mathews, Keon Coleman, to name the obvious ones.
Looks like the trend may be changing, though. If we can get a solid D Line recruiter (Davis?!) then I really think we're set. I'm not sold on Corey Raymond returning, but if he does, a combo of Raymond, Davis, and Wilson would be unreal for LA recruiting.

Kelly said that he was only going to take about ten out of the portal. He wants to sign a lot of freshman. He said that is the only way to build a solid team and to also sustain it every year

That is completely irrelevant, though. Our fanbase is just wrapped up in its need instant gratification. Same with the defensive staff situation.

I know and I agree with his philosophy there. After this class we will be back to a 85-man roster that’s not backloaded with marginal FBS talent, so shifting the portal strategy just makes sense.
I made that comment based on idiots melting here and on tRant earlier today.

As it relates to the portal, I think having them wait to announce has to do with roster management.
