quote:Sweet. Should be a smooth transition to D-1.
Stevie plays on a team that has the authenticity of the Sigma Chi flag football team.

On the MTV True Life that Stevie was on he was overthrowing kids in practice and then he yelled at them for not catching it, etc. Just caught him in a few moments of poor sportsmanship..

That qualification is about as grey as the offensive scheme

yeah, probably not. i'd rather get a couple of the oos kids that are big time.

Bernie, what are you thoughts on how the Grand Canyon was formed? Stevie and his mom think that God carved it out for them rather then some stupid fricking river cause if it was a river than how come all the rivers haven't made big canyons over the years.

Zach already has an offer from Northwestern (Big 10) - I can't see him going to a CUSA team.

They are both extremely talented and should both get a Div I gig. However, Oliver is the much better QB. His measurables, stats, level of competition, and experiance can't be ignored. It would be wise for LSU to keep this local talent at home! He would be a great delivery system for the talented WR's we are getting to head our way.

We have to remember, these are 17 year old kids we are discussing. I hope they get to go to school and enjoy more years of football too, at a place they enjoy and really want to be.

This is the second time I think I've ever agreed with LE.

As for taking an OOS QB and In-State QB, do we have enough available schollys to hand out? Especially if Zach Lee enrolls at LSU.

Oliver by a longshot, I saw both of them throw in like a 7 v 7 kind of thing and, I don't know what the hype is about Douglass either, he didnt look to good to me
But why isn't Oliver being looked at like a big-time recruit, he is big, incredibly accurate, has a cannon of an arm, and after watching every CHS game last year his decision making has improved drastically, the only concern for me is that he holds on to the ball a litle too long

went to a camp with both. They are both great QB's and both great people. I saw Stevie throwing today and his motion looked a lot better. It also looks like he put on a little weight which is good. I don't know about all that poor sportsmanship stuff but from what I've seen both are nice guys. Stevie will be in a real school next year from what he told me and Zack will have a great season at catholic. Count on it

I don't even consider this a comparison.
The only reason anyone is discussing Douglas right now is because he posts on Tigerbait and had an MTV show.
Oliver is a legitimate prospect at QB. He is far and away a better prospect right now. Hence, why he has a few offers this early in the process.
Zack should do well at the 7 on 7 camps. It is perfect for his skill set.

Oliver is no doubt better but I honestly would like to see us land a STUD in this class. Their is a few on our board I'd like to see us land before we offer Oliver...if we start whiffing on them, then use Oliver as a backup plan.
