Y'all are way too hard on this Evans is a headcase thing. So he has wavered on his commitments. So what. Maybe he just doesn't know where he wants to go.
He has amped up the drama and constantly stirred the pot. Go ready what recruiting guys have said about him. This isn’t some mystery. It isn’t just him being indecisive. He’s an attention whore. This is not new news.

I think he would be good, but if he goes to Georgia, maybe it's because he'd prefer a more traditional running game.

If he signed with Maryland out of spite like that, we aren't going to miss him at all. He might end up a fine player for them, but that's an impulsive, immature move. And one that portends to further poor decision making off the field in the future.
I agree and I trust it coming from Shea. I mean you don’t get much better of a source than your wife working in the building.

He's going to be waiting in line a long time at Georgia even if he's elite. He'd probably get on the field next year with LSU and share carries with Davis/Emery assuming Curry transfers.

It has been a bad habit lately and this class is much worse than the ones in the past because they struck out on 4 blue chip recruits that LSU should've had in their bag. That's elite players that are difference makers. That's losing momentum in recruiting it doesn't matter how you want to spin it. Similar to Surtain's situation where nobody had a shot and he punks LSU's staff. The other coaches in SEC are dirty recruiting LSU and doing a good job with it.
And how has the staff responded to “getting played”
They went and got guys like Cole Tracy and Joe Burrow. That’s how.
Quit losing your goddamn mind over a top 5 recruiting class that has filled every need except RB in the open signing period.
Youre acting like we signed a 90s ranked class instead of top 5.

I guess that's what Jarrett meant about lack of trust with the coaching staff.
That was him just talking shite. He told us what this was- a business decision. With Under Armor.

What I mean is maybe he was saying they don't trust him.

He’s good, but if he decides to go elsewhere LSU can flip Clayton. I like that kids game just as well. And besides, I think they’re set with Emery, Davis-Price and Curry.

Vol has his sources for sure regardless what anyone says but he also invites all the criticisms himself with the way he posts.

Who were the signing day losses in previous Orgeron years?
Akers and Wilson to FSU in 2017
Surtain II in 2018
Ish Sopsher last year
Am I missing anyone else?
At the end of the day all of those are elite recruits and all but one (including the four this year) were out of state guys. And the only two commitments were Burton and Jarrett.

How am I wrong? The class is excellent but they've lost tons of recruiting momentum at the end.
Damn, is it February already? Did we win the natty?

It's more frustrating when you tell instate recruits to look elsewhere and then come back saying it's a need. Makes you look like a clown. You had plenty of room for guys like that if you didn't get a big head. They might've potentially hurt relations with that school now too, who knows. There's lots of variables here. Orgeron has a habit of getting on his own high and gets the better of him. He's a great recruiter but sometimes he's terrible at reading a prospects real demeanor.
Compare it to Miles who was an outstanding closer when it came to recruiting. He always had lots of nice surprises on NSD. You'd get guys where it was like where did that come from? I think Miles was a better recruiter than Orgeron on that closing ability.

But people get frustrated when you have an "insider" on here gassing up the board for 2 months saying we will end up number 1 and then we actually fall on ESD.
You had an “insider” who claimed that he was leaking info that had been told to the coaches.
A) quit judging the coaching staff on what “insiders” on an anonymous message board says
B) quit trusting “insiders” completely. It’s ok to be interested in what Vol has to say but again. This is an anonymous message board. You don’t know him why do you trust him if it’s going to hurt your feelings so much when he gets some things wrong
C) there is no one in the world who can accurately predict what a 17 year old boy will do.
Get. Out. Of. Your. Feelings. And look at this class rationally

I don't doubt it and probably in the coachig staff. Orgeron himself said they were expecting 22 or 23 signatures and in the post conference said kids told them they were coming and then they did not.
I still think the staff didn't play it well letting go legitimate prospects that wanted to come here.

I don’t generally disagree with you, especially about cutting loose two good in-state players and two guys from the suburbs of Dallas and Houston and potentially burning bridges.
I was just wondering who were the other signing day (and early signing day) losses? Did I miss anyone?

You mean the guy who filled recruiting classes with 5 star receivers (that he wouldn’t use) and way too many Dbacks while neglecting the lines? I’d rather go back 30th ranked classes than do that shite again

Yeah, he's also the guy who got a player like Sam Montgomery out of absolutely nowhere on NSD who was a 1st round talent and significantly contributed to LSU's absolutely filthy dline in 2011.
Again, get some fricking reading comprehension ability. We're talking about his ability to close. He was an excellent closer. There's no denying that.

Hitting submit?
I never saw anything with how he brought info. He wasn't doing the 1 a.m. DALSU boom threads.
