The scoop is that no one has heard of him. He's not on any of the major recruiting sites. Tell him to get to camps this summer to get some recognition. Kid looks pretty physical, not SEC caliber but he can play.
Obviously just my opinion, but he looks a little slower than the 4.5 his hudl profile claims. I like how he run blitzes...comes through the line under control and reads flow well.

I saw the kid play a couple of games last year. He looked impressive to me but I don't know shite about recruiting. Figured I'd ask if anyone had ever heard of the kid. He was in on roughly 3/4 of the tackles in the 2 games I went to.

We essentially have 3 committed with 1, maybe 2 spots left dependent on who. Atkins is wishy washy so who knows there. Keys and Williams appear locked in. Singleton is a forever take I'd assume and the McBride kid is a LB projection and rising quickly. Then we have all of the OOS options. Crowded board so everyone isn't going to make it.

Def doesn't run a 4.5 40. He's not quick and would struggle in space in the SEC.

Maybe he'd be a late take if he blows up like that Dylan Carpenter did with a big Senior year.
His best attribute looks to be how well he navigates traffic. His biggest weakness will be overall athleticism.

Yeah. The entire sam houston defense is way better than last year. I've been impressed so far. The games are gonna get tougher starting this week though.
