Wonder if BBall will go after Jabari Smith's son?

He seems to be highly thought of in recruiting circles for the 2021 cycle, appears to have good height and the range to be a 3. I would imagine his family still has good feelings about LSU, but I had no idea his son existed until Rant talk about Jabari lead to an internet search to see what he was up to.

Just typing out 2021 accomplished that for me. We are now talking about recruits that weren't even alive before 9/11.

On Senior night in 2000 I entered the PMAC through he southwest portal as the Seniors were about to be introduced. Standing before me preparing to enter the court was a 6' 11 mountain of a man sobbing uncontrollably as he prepared to enter the arena which had embraced him as he became a key cog in building an SEC title team. Jabari Smith stated that he was very emotional in appreciation of John Brady and Butch Pierre continuing to support him as he navigated through his academic development in junior college when others abandoned him. It struck me that unlike many college athletes Jabari appreciated the opportunity to grow up and become a success story.
I am sure young Jabari has heard many poaitive things about LSU and hopefully there will be mutual interest if he continues to develop.

Thanks for sharing. It sounds like having Brady around the program may help us here in this case.

BÉLEM, Brazil – It was nearly a fatal opening result for the USA Men’s U16 National Team on Monday. Then the Americans awoke. Falling behind by 17 points over the first 12 minutes of play, the USA U16 National Team (1-0) got it in gear and fought its way to an 83-57 victory over Argentina (0-1) in its opening game of the 2019 FIBA Americas U16 Championship at the Guilherme Paraense Arena. Leading the USA were Jabari Smith Jr. (Sandy Creek H.S./Tyrone, Ga.), who finished with 22 points and nine rebounds

I was 12 when I saw that dunk against Arizona in person. Top 5 favorite experience for me with Tiger basketball.
That team was so much damn fun. Screw Wisconsin.

Wisconsin got away with a lot of off ball fouls that game. LSU just wasn't prepared to play that kind of game. If they had been they'd of beat the pants off Wisconsin. Wasn't Brady's fault, just never know how refs will call a game. The worst officiated game I have ever seen in my life, all sports, all levels, was 1985 LSU versus Navy. LSU was called for 34 fouls. They were literally calling fouls on LSU players guarding David Robinson when the player was 2 feet away from him, before he even shot the ball. It was so bad Robinson was laughing about it when the calls were being made.

I saw Jabari (Sr.) in Kroger a year or 2 ago wearing LSU gear. He still loves us.

From what I understand JB Jr has already been on campus so I know he's at least somewhat familiar with the Tigers and interested in possibly playing here.

Great story man, thanks for sharing. Absolutely loved that team and yes Jabari was an essential piece of making that team a champion
