What is the likelihood of Starks making it to campus this fall? Does anyone have more detailed info as to his situation?

I was just thinking about this. Would love some info.

Sounds like he did what he was supposed to do and now waiting on the NCAA Clearinghouse.

NCAA Clearinghouse.
I have more faith now than before with Scott Woodward leading the way. Starks is a machine. Seen him play a few times. He will produce and be a leader.

Not to be that guy but his first chance to show that leadership isn’t going so well!

I hope he can get cleared soon just so he can be in practice and meetings to see how to be a college football player at this level. Even if he doesn’t play much, getting exposed to the veterans is invaluable for his development.

GTFO. The kid transferred from La to MS and back to La.....he had some coursework to catch-up on because his counselors didn’t evaluated his transcript correctly. He passed everything that was asked of him to qualify, including the ACT.
Now it’s just waiting on the clearing house to push it through, might take some time, but he’s probably a RS candidate regardless.
Some of y’all need to calm down

Ok..yes was an assumption my bad!

Do you need a vacuum professor?
I’m ASSUMING that’s what you’re talking about.
And yes I like our chances better with Woodward at the helm.

Donte Starks tweeted that he was trying very hard to get to campus.

This all had to do with his bouncing from Mississippi to Ehret, back to Mississippi again, and back to Ehret I believe.

That is not what was said prior to his signing and even after his signing. In fact what was said was that even with our stacked LB-ing crew he was one of the players that was slated to see playing time because he was college ready.

Nawl now, you need to have a certain amount of core classes to get out of high school "PERIODT"... that further translates to college admission which can even require less core classes especially as an athlete...so you can't fluff your way out by saying transfer to transfer issues...you have had since Dec2018 at least to make up for anything you missed due to misevaluation of counselors..these counselors didnt get it that wrong and know what they are doing to a certain level of competence...that is why you don't hear him say anything about his transfers...he can spin the story however he wants to when he meets the requirement... and it is what it is...He will be fine once he gets to school and get acclimated though!!

Does it??? Ppl bounce to different states and schools all the time...but if the case, parents' responsibility to ensure he meets requirement...why put him in this type of predicament....but nevertheless, i would be screaming to the world to clear up erroneous readerick. Everyone stop making assumptions and let it play out for what it is..
