I wonder if there is an opportunity for him to return to LSU in some capacity.

Whats Jimbo got to do with Mason Smith?

In my opinion if Mason Smith gets 1st or 2nd round evaluation he will head to draft. I think any player with 1st or 2nd round draft should declare.

I know it sucks for LSU but there is not much for most of these kids post NFL .
And the younger their body is, the better of making their dream happen in NFL .

With NIL, any evaluation other than 1st and 2nd round the players need to give it a second look and evaluate if they can really elevate themselves in the next year draft or not

The guy who has buddies posting here who say he’s the be all end all and was supposed to deliver Matthews, Preston, law, and Anderson a couple years ago?

Seems like he didn’t come through on much unless there’s more to it

Wrong person, but Maason Smith isn’t going in the top 2 rounds of the draft.

Wrong Mason. And Maason isn’t going anywhere. He’s lucky he starts for LSU.

I wish he would but from his mouth, he’s not coming back. It wasn’t terribly nice of a parting.

Not Matthews, Preston, Law, or Anderson that's for sure.

Maason isn't getting drafted this season. He will make more at LSU from NIL than he will being a punching bag on a practice squad.

At this point, Maason Smith would be lucky to get a 4th/5th round pick.

There were rumors of him being really shitty to work with which is probably the reason why it wasn’t a very good parting. He apparently thought he was a lot more important than he really was.

Which is funny considering his people were hyping him up like he was gonna deliver all these kids to LSU and I don’t think he did much at all. I know he lost the very kids he supposedly so tight with but that’s about it

Sounds like another Austin Thomas type who thinks he’s some sort of irreplaceable cog in the machine
