247 is dead. Shannon Terry is the king of recruiting. Dude just makes a new recruiting site every 10 years, builds it into the best and then sells.

It really is amazing that absolutely no one even mounts a challenge to him. His model continues to repeat itself, rise and fall, with every step. Hard to imagine anyone dominating their business competition at the level he does. Even the massive budgets at Yahoo and CBS couldn't thwart him(did they really try?). It's impressive.

On3 in their short time already has way better YouTube content than 247 ever did which is where I like to get my recruiting info. I’m all for for this shift
