He either wanted out, or at least a chance at a decent deal (in his eyes) since him and the head coach shared agent, maybe he felt he was screwed in the deal he got

Some of the stuff in that Big 10 template is legitimately bad for the players. I have a feeling that thing is going to get ripped to shreds by attorneys in the near future.
