Wait did this kid commit? He led the nation in High School scoring as a Sophmore. He averaged 40 PPG as a Sophmore last season.

No he didn’t commit anywhere yet

That looks like middle school ball.

Will be a good story if he gets a Division 1 offer . Unlikely though at that size,

Maybe as a walk on? Kid doesn't have the measurables to make it in division 1 basketball.

Too short, cant defend, weak competition. Will be great at butler or creighton, or Belmont

Check out their last 12 years before you post sarcastically.

Maxpreps says hes 35% from 3 this season, that's not bad, but I wouldn't call him a sharpshooter. At 6'0 listed, you either better be a great ball handler (which clearly not his strong suit) or super sharp from 3.
He might get UAB or Troy type offers from Alabama, dont really see him as a high major offer though.

35% is surely no sharp shooter.

Need that white boy from Southeastern

Kid is deadly from deep
Yea, I don't see it. He has a good shot and can hit from basically anywhere, but there's many factors that determine if a player is good enough to play major college basketball. Aside from the fact he isn't playing against very good competition, he lacks the athleticism to compete againstD1 guards. He just isn't quick enough. Maybe with some work, a lot of work, maybe he could develop some. But right now I see a kid that has the skill, just not the athletic ability. In todays game a player must have quickness to get distance between him self and the defender. He just doesn't have that right now.

He will be fun to watch at some FCS or Division 2 school. He’s also a 35% shooter from deep, so not really a sharp shooter.

Sounds like some of you just don't like the kid because he is a high 3pt % shooting guard that is white

I have nothing against the kid, I don't even know the kid. I'm just saying he's not a D1 level player. He's also not a high percentage 3pt shooter like I said.

Kind of guy you hate play. Always driving and charging goal, uber aggressive Waters. Great outside shot!

Creighton is 13-11
Butler is 14-10
LSU is 19-4.

Tyler Herro is someone we wont like tomrorow night because he's a high 3 point percentage shooter against a team we will play in the SEC. He's a white high 3 point % shooter.
We dont hate this Murr kid, just telling it like it is. 35% in high school is not a "high" 3 point %. Or "sharpshooter" territory. It's pretty average for guards. He's clearly an undersized kid who is a very high volume player, but not necessarily highly efficient. Also, look at his offers, that tells it all.
