Hopefully they are just enjoying the "recruiting experience". UCLA has some really nice "hostess"

Why would anyone want to play for a midget named Saban?

Care to elaborate on how Louisiana kids are better off getting an education from UCLA?
I had a Prof at LSU that said you can get just as good an education at LSU as he did at Brown if yo work hard enough and show initiative. However, like it or not the University of California system, which includes UCLA is regarded as one of the top public university systems in the country.

UCLA has been the premier academic school in LA for over 50 years. Unless one wants to work in the movies or TV, USC is second rate all around.
That said, UCLA is not an easy school. Its hard work and I suspect these three are top students to even consider UCLA seriously. If they can't crack the books and get the grades, they'll be watching from the sidelines or the stands. If they have to bust their butts every minute away from practice just to pass their classes, forget the beach and the sunshine and all the beautiful people; they'll be in the library.

My question is were is the pride in our state University. What are these young players being told about their state school? Seems like most want to go "out of state". What does these out of state schools have that LSU doesn't? Look at the facilities we have. State of the art facilities. So whats the problem?
We don't have the best facilities in our division. We have top notch, but so do other schools. shite a school like cincinatti has impressive facilities and campus. Everything is brand new.
State pride is nice and all, but some of these kids grew up in rural LA, why wouldn't they want to go somewhere else?
Plus no one is bitching about the oos players we have and the lack of state pride they've shown by playing at LSU. I mean frick patrick Peterson. No love for the state of Florida.

If a kid really wants to get away from home and travel the country....why do they have to do it on all these recruiting trips and commit oos schools saying they "wanted a change"....whenever they hit the NFL and are making millions they can travel then alllll they want
Now this isn't the same for the smaller profile kids who may not make it to the NFL, I applaud them for taking advantage of the opportunity to travel and see new places
Also, yes I'm being biased lol sorry! I just wish kids growing up in Louisiana would WANT to stay home and play for their Stare University!! LSU!
