Ridley played in 2008 some. Hurt his knee but is back and ready to play as far as I know. In 2008 he had twelve carries for for 82 yards with his longest at 18 yards. Average 8.8 and one TD!

But what means more to me than stats is how hard he is to bring down. Just a runner that refuses to be tackled.

I question the wisdom of a thread like this.

pick LSU over Auburn given how the season is playing out for both teams offensively? Good majority of LSU fans were counting on Auburn falling apart once the season got going, but instead you have LSU rushing for 30 yards vs the same team AU put 400 on.

Why would a high profile offensive player choose LSU w/ the inability (both in production and play calling) they've shown this year?

Because LSU>AU

Ridley, Murphy, Ford and Calhoun won't cut it?

Which of those guys is a bigtime talent besides Ford? Maybe Ridley as a power back, but who knows on him.

Why would anyone want to play for a school with fans as unappreciative as you? The first time a player struggles you are ready to conclude that he is not as good as the next highly touted high school player and shouldn't be playing. Yet somehow LSU keeps winning with players you do not appreciate, and LSU is sending more of them to play in the NFL then other schools.

Maybe the problem isn't LSU. Maybe the problem is just crappy perspective on your part.

You are right...we should quit recruiting him and all big names RB's. Hell whoever is rushing for all those yards will probably just sit the bench when Lache gets there...

Who said anything about better??? GC has already been a HC and has been honest about staying at OC. Whereas, Malzahn has not been a HC and wants to be one ASAP. Seems pretty clear to me and most players want to know the OC they will be playing for.

Absent something odd, he's just coming to LSU.

That could be because HS players, coaches etc don't look at thinks the same same way idiot fans like you do.

And the transitive property (team A did this against Team B, but Team C only did that, so there fore Team is superior to team C.) is stoopid.

Well the game today pretty much sold me on the fact that Auburn sucks arse and is nowhere near the offensive juggarnaut that people claimed.

LSU will always get more media exposure than Auburn. Auburn doesn't have the branding LSU has.

Still, 17,18,19 year old kids make decisions based on many simpler factors than more mature folk. Like Dyer, he may just "feel at home" there.
