color me shocked the day this Board or the OT starts replying to anyone in a civil tone. Its not quite cyberbullying as much as assholes behind a keyboard, accept it and avoid posting is the best aproach.

LF already signed with Bama last week. I think everyones offering J-Rob because he's the real deal. 5 star Corner, he's wayyy better than Jabril Salt and Honey Badger. Future First Rounder.

Could be a fear or trolls or just plain ignorance. Those traits run rampant with newbs that join in january. It is what it is, some of us older guys just get annoyed with it. Due to that and ranters coming over, I rarely post in late january or february until rmd

Mostly because people don't want this board to become overrun with posts asking questions that can be easily answered with a simple glance at the first page or by using the search function. People that frequent this board like it to be easily navigable and quick on information. The day this place becomes like the Tiger Rant, it will be deemed useless.

For Example: There was a post yesterday (Feb 26th) asking if Edward Paris had committed to LSU or not. Had the OP even looked through the first page he would have seen a 45 page long thread stating that Ed Paris had in fact committed to LSU on Feb 25th. Not only was there a 45 page long thread, it was stated in the topics of interest. Honestly, how do you expect a group of people on a message board to react when a post like that is made? The obvious answer is to tell the OP that Ed Paris had in fact committed to Florida and post gifs such as:

dumb posts are dumb posts, regardless of post count IMO. when people come in here with well thought first posts, they get commended. when they have shitty first posts, they get bashed. it is what it is

the way it should be. i post both emotional and well thought out posts and i get slammed on ever crappy post and i deserve it. sometimes i get slammed on good posts but those are easy to defend.

This board is awesome. Plenty of great info. It is easy to tell who knows his shite after being in here for a little while.

I am not one of those who knows his shite, but I get plenty of good info in here.

to the RB regulars that beat up the rest of us

I only give a hard time to three types of posters.

The rantards who come over and say "so-and-so's talent will be a waste with so-and-so's play calling."

Posters who bash kids for no/stupid reasons.

Posters who start a thread asking stupid questions about a recruit when there are clearly 5 threads on the first page about him. A minimal effort is all I require.

A lot depends on the attitude of the poster.

If I started a thread with a subject of
quote:

BREAKING NEWS!!!!
and my post was:
quote:

I just talked with a buddy of mine who told me that Lennard Fornet is going to BAMA!!!!

WTF?!! This is all because dumass Miles insisted on playing Jordan Jefferson!

then I would totally deserve all the mocking and abuse that this board would dish out.

It seems that for some, participation on this board is the most meaningful intellectual and social interaction of their lives. They find it tiresome that they already possess information others come here to find.
People have to start somewhere to learn about both recruiting and posting.
Give the hazing a rest and let LSU fans of all levels of experience participate.
If this is the most exclusive "club" in which you are a member, you have other problems to be concerned about.
