I think it is just one more indication of the type of coach and person that Miles is for sticking with him and trying to get him in
yeah because if the guy couldnt run a 4.4 forty or catch Miles would still be giving a shite if he went to LSU or not.

I like Benton and think he will be a stud if he ever checks in, but I have seen video of both he and Randle and I don't see a comparison at all. Randle is without a doubt a better player, receiver, route-runner. I'd like to have both, but would much rather have randle

I'm just curious on what kind of parents this kid has?
I met a kid once and the kid had a lot of talent but the kid had no clue on what the outside world would be like or what it could have delivered. His Parents just didn't care what he did, never helped him on any of his school work. Found out the kid had dyslexia but seemed very intelligent . He asked if he could get a part time job after school just to know what it would be like plus have some change in his pocket and his dad denied him because he would lose the income at the end of the year. The kid had problems with his parents not wanting to pick him up from Baseball & football practice skipped one year of football because he was embarrassed of his situation. He gave up basketball because he was tired of asking his teammates for rides. Anyways the kid said he had no clue how hard it would be out on his own because no one ever discussed or sat down and explained it to him. All he ever done was his chores and played sports and never took education seriously. May be its the case for Benton. He was having to do it on his own for years has taken a toll on him but haven't given up. In any case I hope he makes it and when he makes it take full advantage of it.
