Benton > Bell FWIW.
I'm ready for it to end and regardless of what happens next wed. we have a sick class coming to BR. Can't wait to see Joshn Downs in P&G next season.
If the O-line can give our QB's time to throw someone will be open. Those four will be sick.

Blocking really isn't stressed in high school WR's as it is in college. They will need to be coached

Benton will lay the wood. Very good blocker. When we played Edmund sante fe out of Ok, Benton killed the LB's on crackback blocks. When the 3rd quarter started th LB's would not be looking at the runner running around the end but trying to find Benton instead. He was headhunting.
I'll try this one more time Benton will report to LSU next week.
Benton will be at LSU next week..
I think Alex could play pretty good at a LB spot.
Living expenses = no
I was also thinking that since i don't have many months left on the 4-wheeler and Suburban that i would just pay for it out of the monthly budget and not spend my cash on it.

re: Was there an SEC chant???

I absolutely want the SEC to win. I will root for the SEC team every time. I want the media to think the SEC is the best conference so what happened to Auburn does not happen to my TIGERS one day. So taking pride in the SEC and wanting all SEC teams to win the bowl games they play in actually helps my team in the long run.
Yes i own a house. Rate at 5.875%. Not a whole lot of debt a few credit cards. My truck is payed for and the wife's suburban will be paid for at the end of this year. Owe 1200 on the 4-wheeler. I know i am going to pay the first year of tuition to private school for the kids as you get a small break by paying yearly. Would like to invest half of it but I'm not very knowledgable about this. The other half will pay down credit cards and pay off other debt. Maybe around 18,000(tuition incl. in this) total. Will have about 10 or 12 left to put in interest earning saving. The first half is really what i need help with.

Pay off student loans and my car.

The rest would go to hookers and blow.

NO student loans and truck is paid for.
Married
What type of investment would you look at?

At Oklahoma, the Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Sam Bradford told him that he would return for next season. Tired of facing double-coverage defense, Julio Jones, Alabama’s freshman wide receiver sensation, pleaded with Randle to play for the Crimson Tide.

He has even had recruiting pitches from fellow students at Bastrop High School, in northeastern Louisiana.

“This guy, I believe a freshman, he wants me to go to L.S.U.,” Randle said. “If I sign with L.S.U., he’ll pay me. It was just crazy how he just came up there and approached me with something like that.”

With about a month to go until Randle, a senior, is to announce his college choice on Feb. 4, the first day he can sign a letter of intent, it seems as if everyone is trying to influence his decision.

That is because the 6-foot-3, 195-pound Randle is ranked as the nation’s top player by Rivals.com.

He is still considering Alabama, Louisiana State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Miami.

Often compared to Randy Moss of the New England Patriots, Randle is a rare combination of size, explosive speed and sure hands, all of which will be on display Saturday during the United States Army All-American Bowl, an annual game here for the nation’s best high school seniors.

“He just simply takes over games and owns them,” Jeremy Crabtree, the national recruiting editor for Rivals.com, said in a telephone interview. “He takes personal pride and responsibility in making sure that he’s the guy to do the damage.”

As a junior at Bastrop High, Randle played wide receiver and had 65 catches for 1,068 yards and 11 touchdowns. Because of his athleticism, he played quarterback this season for the Fighting Rams, who were beaten in the Class 4A state semifinals.

The defeat devastated Randle, who was slowed by a hamstring injury. He finished the season with 2,461 passing yards, 20 touchdown passes and 9 interceptions, as well as 683 rushing yards and 12 rushing touchdowns.

But Randle said he expected to benefit from his sacrifice. While playing quarterback, he said, he gained more insight into the intricacies of what is expected from a wide receiver.

“I’ll be able to communicate with my quarterback better,” Randle said. “I’ll understand what he’s thinking so we can be on the same page.”

Randle made an official visit to Oklahoma in November and is scheduled to make a trip to Oklahoma State on Friday. Other potential official visits have not been decided, his father, Emmett Randle, said.

Randle has made unofficial visits to Alabama, L.S.U. and Miami.

“I’m looking to go in there and make an impact,” Randle said. “I want to come in to the best situation possible for me as a freshman.”

Besides the return of Bradford, the Sooners are attractive to Randle because they are losing both of their starting wide receivers.

At Alabama, Randle likes the idea of lining up opposite Jones.

Randle is intrigued about playing at Oklahoma State because wide receiver Dez Bryant and quarterback Zac Robinson will return next season.

Yet he seems most passionate about L.S.U., despite a popular recruiting knock being used against the Tigers these days.

Some maintain that their Bowl Championship Series national title last season was a testament to Alabama Coach Nick Saban’s recruiting before he left L.S.U., rather than the coaching of Tigers Coach Les Miles.

But don’t try telling Randle that.

He gushed about the prospect of playing for L.S.U., which rarely loses Louisiana recruits.

“That’s my home state,” Randle said. “It’s a great school to go to. My opportunities there are great. I have a great chance of playing there. I have my family there to support me. They want to have much to do with coming to see me play. So it won’t be hard for them to travel there.”

Regardless, Randle says he is not leaning toward attending any particular college.

“I can’t really give you a favorite because it might change or it might not,” he said.

This week, Randle has added to his sterling reputation as a playmaker during practices for the Army All-American Bowl, despite battling his nagging hamstring injury.

Dre Kirkpatrick of Gadsden, Ala., who is uncommitted and ranked as the nation’s top cornerback by Rivals.com, praised Randle’s size and his ability to catch passes with his hands, not with his body. “That’s another big plus for him,” Kirkpatrick said.

But with signing day a month away, Randle is preparing for even more all-out offensives.

“I know it’s going to be crazy,” he said. “I’m just trying to brace myself for it and be up for anything.”

And how many times have you seen Randle play?
Just asking. I watched Benton and Randle play every high school game that they played(missed maybe 3 or 4). Randle can for sure be in the top three at LSU next year. He is a Lafell clone with better hands. Never seen Benton and Randle race but I do not believe Benton has the top end speed of Randle. Only time will tell but Randle is amazing. Hope he goes to LSU!!!!!!Crazy athletic ability in the whole Randle family. I coached his 8 year old cousin in coach pitch softball this year and she hit 5 homeruns over the fence in 5 games at distict all-star tourny.

Russell Shepard (Houston/Cypress Ridge) threw his share of bad balls and struggled at times with accuracy, but he surprised with his downfield arm strength. The future LSU Tiger continues to freeze some of the nation's finer defenders in space any time he tucks the ball away. per ESPN

I think Shep will be just fine.

re: DeAngelo Benton...

They are friends but don't really hang out.
Benton is an excellent reciever. Very good blocker. He's not as fast as Rueben but
I think he is a lot more shifty. Both have great hands. I think Rueben is more likely to beat you deep and Benton is more likely to make a big play out of a short catch. Both are great recievers. Benton goes for the kill on blocks. I'm not saying Ruben is not a good blocker but with playing QB we didn't get to see that part of his game this year.
