One of the easiest questions to give an answer to and I'm going to give you several reasons that compound on each other.
- didn't do anything his first year at bama because of injury and being behind many WRs
- was still dealing with injury during our spring practice time so out of sight, out of mind
- Kyren Lacy became "that dude" in the spring game and he was just forgotten about as a possible starter
- people still think Chris Hilton, if healthy, has elite ability to not only be our speed option, but the #4 WR. We know they aren't exactly the same, but who would feel would start first, the one who has experience at this level, and has already played with the QB, or the newcomer who we haven't even seen in practice?
From the way they talk, he's definitely going to be on the field in some capacity on offense though. Will likely be in the 5 man rotation at worst.

If he gets healthy enough to be PR/KR that is a huge win for us. I kind of wrote him off for 2023. I want him to take his time coming back and make sure he's not only healed, but has confidence in his body to have the agility and burst he became a prized recruit for.

Injury concerns and he hasn’t proven anything.

Aaron Anderson is going to be elite.

FWIW - Daniels sat down with Moscona during the SEC media days and when asked which under the radar WRs are set to shine this season, he specifically mentioned Lacy in the slot (big catch radius) and Aaron Anderson

Some might think its hyperbole, but I totally agree. That jit has "it". Just hope he's healthy.

5 star hopeful that I’m all about supporting

We have a good mix of talented receivers. I hope we see a package that occasionally puts Anderson, Hilton, and Thomas on the field at same time. That is a speedy combination! A team would need a group of very fast DBs to stay up with them.

Watching him house 3 return TDs against Curtis on national TV was something else. He just sees the field differently.

Anderson will probably end up number two wr by mid season. He tore up Alabama’s first team defense in scrimmages before his injury and was ahead of all the freshman for them at wr at the time of the injury. His injury was not the type you don’t come back 100 percent. Held out spring so he would be 100 percent.

AYS said that AA has been the most talked about player this summer during their summer practice. When I saw him play on the documentary about Algiers LA, he looked like an elite RB when he got the ball in his hands. I really hope we can find a way to get the ball in his hands as much as possible.

Yeah Blake has been really high on him for a while now. He mentioned CBK "penciled him in" as starter. Anyone got that exact quote (from BK)?

According to Tiger Bait, Anderson has been awesome in practice.
Lacey also looked excellent in the Spring.
