I don't know why we didn't offer Simms, but if we had to just to get CR then Les is OK by me. Les tries to sell our state university to state recruits. Why does anyone have to come up with gimmicks? If the guy has to have someone hold his hand while he goes to the same school, then go. Saban couldn't get Cams girlfriend because maybe he doesn't have one, but he has a boyfriend and Saban used that gimmick again.

We will not lose out on all of them, and especially not because of Sims.

I like how everyone thinks Sims sucks. He's a top 100 player and top 15 WR. He's no slower than Diarse and we were all ok with signing him. I understand the camp part playing a major role in no offer. I just don't see how this makes him a bad WR. I would've been happy to sign him regardless of the other WR's in the mix. Like JJ27 said, we gave an offer to a k who doesn't even start for his HS team.
